Fun Things...

A fellow peer of mine, Jenny McCullough is designing tattoos for her final project. I thought I would give her an idea...she took it and went with it. One afternoon she drew it on me to get a better idea of what it would look like 3-D. It is very large, too large for me that is; however I love the design, it has a lot of personal meaning to myself and my little sister. I took a picture through photo booth (mac program) on a school computer so the image is not the best but you get the idea.

Gallery Show/Graduation Annoucement

I am graduating this May 2009, 25 days and counting! I am having a Gallery Showing May 29, 2009 @ 6pm-9pm at the Barbershop Gallery and a Graduation party May 30, 2009 @ 5pm. I have just made my announcements for the show...Little behind schedule, opps. I haven't got the "okay" from the man in charge. However, I thought I would post it anywise. On the back of the mailer there will be all of the information including a small map I have made. I loved the image of my last shoot that I decided to use one of them for my mailer. Let me know what you think!

I went out on a photo shoot this weekend, I haven't touched them up yet, but I love some of them already with out any help...my model is so fashion forward, doesn't she look great.

Her boots got a beating...I made her get deep into the mud. Thanks Sara.

Art Walk

On Friday, April 17, 2009 I had my work up at Studio One, in Pittsburg, KS. I regret to inform you all that I did not document the event...I am hoping that a fellow artist did. If so I will post some pictures of the show. (I was helping paint faces during the event, completely forgetting to document~opps!)

Raku

This weekend I got to go with my buddy, Jake Fincher (http://www.myspace.com/MrBoogiepants), and Raku fire some of our ceramic pieces.

I also wondered around the area, near Cherokee County and took some pictures.

The Image "Fear" will be in an upcoming show "Head for the Art"

Eyes

I have been working on the idea "eyes" My eye sight is progressively getting worse the older I get. I have been sketching in my journal with and with out glasses. I am intrigued by the images with out my corrective help. With this concept I have been working on a series of photographs to relate my visions to others. Here is one of my images.
